Registered Social Worker Providing Psychotherapy in Ontario
About Pamela Bailey, MSW, RSW
Services at Centrepeace are provided by me, Pamela Bailey (she/they), BSW, MSW, RSW — a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I've been practicing social work for over 20 years, with a focus on clinical counselling and psychotherapy for the last 13 years. I'm authorized to perform the controlled act of psychotherapy in Ontario, which means the support you receive here meets the same clinical standard as services from a registered psychotherapist.
I completed my Master of Social Work degree at King's University College (Western) and have since completed extensive training in gender-affirming care, trauma-informed care, Internal Family Systems, DBT, Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy and other evidence-based interventions through Rainbow Health Ontario and other programs. I'm also a certified Circle of Security Facilitator.
I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches — always adapted to what works for you, and always with your input. Whether that means working through the roots of anxiety, processing past trauma, exploring identity and self-understanding, or building practical coping skills, the approach shifts to meet where you are.

Both Registered Social Workers (RSWs) and Registered Psychotherapists (RPs) are authorized to perform psychotherapy in Ontario. The difference is in their training pathway and regulatory college. I hold a BSW, MSW, and RSW and am fully authorized to provide psychotherapy in Ontario. The credential on your insurance plan may say either and both may apply to sessions at Centrepeace.
I work from a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and gender-affirming framework, drawing from a range of evidence-based approaches adapted to your individual needs. You are involved in decisions about how your sessions are structured and what methods feel right for you.
Yes. Centrepeace sees preteens (10+), teens, and adults individually, as well as families. Sessions are available in-person at our office in London's Woodfield neighbourhood, or virtually (16+) anywhere in Ontario.
