Discover the Path to Personal Growth
Counselling supports your journey to well-being.
You Deserve Therapy That Feels Safe
Reaching out for support takes courage. But for many people, especially those in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, neurodivergent folks, or anyone who has felt unseen or misunderstood, the fear of encountering a therapist who doesn't get it is very real. You may have tried before and walked away feeling more alone than when you started.
You might be carrying anxiety, depression, relationship strain, or the weight of trauma, and wondering whether anyone out there can actually hold space for all of you. Not just the parts that are easy to talk about.
At Centrepeace Counselling & Therapy Services in London, Ontario, you don't have to leave any part of yourself at the door.
What Is Counselling?
Counselling is a professional, confidential relationship that gives you dedicated time and space to explore what's on your mind, work through challenges, and build skills for the life you want. It isn't about being told what to do. It's about being heard, supported, and helped to find your own way forward.
At Centrepeace, we offer in-person counselling in London, ON, and virtual therapy across Ontario, so support is accessible wherever you are.
Queer-Affirming, Trauma-Informed Counselling in London, Ontario
Centrepeace was founded by Pam Bailey (she/they), a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, who is herself a member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Pam's approach is trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, and rooted in genuine curiosity, compassion, and respect.
Counselling at Centrepeace is:
- Affirming by default, not by exception — our practice centres 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, youth, couples, and families
- Trauma-informed throughout, drawing from IFS therapy, Circle of Security, and evidence-based approaches tailored to you
- Accessible, with direct billing to most major insurance providers and reduced-fee options available through our student therapist program
What to Expect
Step 1 — Free 15-Minute Consultation
We start with a free phone or video call to talk about what you're looking for and whether Centrepeace is a good fit for you. No pressure, no commitment.
Step 2 — Your First Session
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know you at your pace. Pam will ask questions, listen carefully, and begin building a picture of what support looks like for you specifically.
Step 3 — Ongoing Support, at Your Pace
From there, you set the pace. Sessions are available in-person in London, ON, or virtually across Ontario.
