Meet Nate (he/him).
A white queer white neurodivergent therapist in his 40’s.
He provides individual therapy for youth age 10+ and adults. He also offers family therapy and adult relationship therapy/couples therapy. He works with members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and our allies.
Nate supports folks dealing with anxiety, depression, self-awareness, relationship issues, family struggles, trauma, identity exploration, discrimination, and more. He is trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy, Relational Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and yoga therapy. Nate makes use of these approaches, as well as somatic experiencing, attachment theory, somatic IFS, and DBT in tailoring sessions to clients’ needs.
Nate’s approach is anti-oppressive, attachment-based, neurodiversity affirming, queer and trans affirming, and poly informed and affirming. Nate pays particular attention to what each client brings and to the whole person that they are. He sees each session as a collaborative process with the aim of supporting clients’ in their goals.
